Why do people go camping? Why do they want to leave the convenience of city life and go into nature?
I believe the reasons vary from person to person, but fundamentally, we think that campers are going to reclaim the important senses and emotions that humans inherently possess.
With advancements in technology, in a world that seems to make everyone happy and comfortable, there are people who lose their connections with others and take their own lives, and sad incidents born from a lack of compassion. It seems that despite material wealth, we are becoming poorer in terms of our emotional well-being.
When you go camping, you are in the great outdoors without the conveniences of life.
You must carefully perform the laborious tasks even to eat.
Through these seemingly irrational yet actually meticulous and delicate tasks, I believe we can reclaim the important senses and emotions that humans inherently possess.
ZEN Camps was born from the desire to help many people feel "the wonderful senses and emotions that we originally possess more vividly" through such camping experiences.
We take pride and responsibility in creating gear that makes people happy, and we will continue to pursue uncompromising craftsmanship.
