- This fire starter was developed by ZEN Camps over a period of more than a year. With superior materials, hardness, and shapes for the rod, and a striker meticulously designed for spark generation, it achieves an extraordinary ignition power. It is recommended for those who have struggled to start a fire with fire starters in the past, as well as for those attempting to start a fire for the first time. It is an essential item for bushcraft!
- 【Commitment to the Rod】 ・Uses a thick ferrocerium rod that is more suitable for ignition than magnesium. It can produce sparks at 3,000℃. Additionally, it employs an original blend of materials called Pure-X️, which is optimized for ignition hardness and spark quantity.
- To create sparks, the amount of material shaved from the rod and the instantaneous generation of friction heat are crucial. However, the hexagonal rod has a larger contact area with the striker compared to a circular one, making it easier to shave the rod and generate friction heat, resulting in larger sparks.
- The rod has a diameter of 12.7mm and can withstand over 20,000 strokes. It is also long, measuring 127mm. ・By intentionally not creating a handle, it allows for use in reverse when the tip becomes thin.
- Please remove the black coating from the rod before use.
- 【Commitment to Strikers】・The ferrocerium rod is carefully shaved and designed to create large sparks through friction, with multiple tests conducted on the hardness of the material, sharpness of the edges, and angles, resulting in a powerful striker that can produce large sparks. Press the rounded tip against the rod and slide the striker while twisting your wrist. *The shape of the striker is currently under design patent application. ・It is 28% larger than a typical striker (compared to our products), which improves grip and reduces the loss of force during strokes, allowing for precise contact with the rod and significantly longer spark distances compared to conventional strikers.

The length of the leather cord is set at 100cm. This eliminates concerns about the cord being too short, allowing for smooth and large strokes. Comes with a zipper-type storage bag. Please refer to Youtube for usage instructions.
